There are numerous initiatives to collect and publish information about accessibility. Sitios brings together the leading software solutions in the area of accessibility on a common platform.

Wide variety of information and formats

There are numerous initiatives to collect and publish information about accessibility. However, the offers are poorly coordinated and the available information is inconsistent and partly outdated. A coordinated approach, digitization and a standardized data structure create new opportunities. Sitios brings together the leading software solutions in the area of accessibility on a common platform.

This ensures that accessibility information is systematically and consistently collected in the future and communicated to target groups via common channels. The bundling of resources in one product enables extended functionalities and increases the effectiveness and efficiency of the future platform, so that as many pages as possible can be captured quickly and with high quality. At the same time, the aim is to achieve maximum visibility of the collected data for target groups by networking with search and booking platforms.

A powerful, shared digital platform

As part of the project, existing data and software tools will be brought together on a common platform. The common platform makes it possible to systematically and uniformly collect, query and communicate accessibility information to target groups via various channels. It ensures good data quality and enables a quick and reliable evaluation of detailed information through predefined and user-specific profiles. The development of the platform is also part of the project. The corresponding professional requirements of the three founding members and other organizations were carefully evaluated in the preliminary project and documented in technical specifications. A roadmap was created for technological development within this project.

The architecture of the common platform is based on the logic of collecting accessibility data from spaces and paths.
