The Ginto app was developed specifically for smartphones. You can also install the app on a tablet or computer, but then the operation and presentation will not be optimal.
For companies, we recommend that you use the company's general information address and not the personal email address of employees. In this way, the user account can continue to be used even in the event of personnel changes (example: info@schweizerhof.ch)
You can find the app in Apple App Store for iPhones and in Google PlayStore for smartphones with Android as the operating system. Search for ginto and install the app.
Open the app and select “Create an account” on the home screen.
Now you can either register with ginto with a new username and password or log in with your existing Google or Apple data.
Check your inbox: You've received a code to verify your email address. Enter the code in the GINTO app.
There are two ways to use Ginto: the personal account and the corporate account. The private account is optimized for people who primarily want to search for barrier-free places. Entries can also be created with the private account. Employees who want to record their company's accessibility as part of the OK:GO initiative choose the company account. You can enter the name of your company (for example, “Hotel Bellavista”).
Once you have completed all steps, your account has been successfully created. You will receive a confirmation via email. In the app, you can now click on “Start ginto” to get started.
With just a few clicks, you can edit existing entries directly in the app. This allows you to add missing information and correct details if they have changed.
Create new entries to describe the accessibility of a place. You can create rooms, describe the routes to them, take pictures and enter important information.
